SmallBiz Staffing placed more than 300 persons in local jobs in its first year of operation. It recruits for professionals, clerical, industrial, technical, and skilled labor positions. Positions can be temporary, temporary to hire, or direct placement.

Vicki Baucum of Homestead and one of the principal owners of SmallBiz Staffing has spent more than 18 years providing necessary services to the Crossville business community.
Baucum, a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, spent 15 years at Cumberland Medical Center before joining forces with Norma Solloway in 2009 to establish SmallBiz Staffing at 60 Ridley Street, Suite 126, in the Tennessee Career Center Building between Livingston Road and Main Street.
Baucum began as a patient advocate in the hospital emergency department in 1993 and ultimately became director of the Industrial Medicine Department in 2005.
Norma Solloway of Fairfield Glade has over 25 years experience in the Human Resource field which she gained during her nearly 38 years with Dana Corporation. Working in several areas of human resources in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Tennessee during her service there, she was the Human Resource Manager at the Dana Crossville Distribution Center when she retired in 2009. Solloway has a business degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, Fort Wayne, Indiana and has been a resident of Cumberland County since 2005.
